Understanding the TRAUMA of Racial Bias -and why it matters to all of us.

Sunday, January 20, 2019. 3 – 5pm, 613 North 5th St., Wausau. Free and Open to the public.

Join UU Wausau, The Wisconsin Institute for Public Policy and Service, and People for the Power of Love at the Wausau YWCA to learn, reflect, and share.

Our dynamic guest speakers, Dr. Fran Kaplan and Mr. Reggie Jackson, will share their insights about how the legacy of racial injustice has affected our community and how we can build a new legacy of racial equality. Q & A will follow the presentation.

Dr. Kaplan and Mr. Jackson are consultants with Nurturing Diversity Partners of Milwaukee and are affiliated with America’s Black Holocaust Museum. They are nationally-known speakers on issues of race and diversity. They will also speak during the 10:30am Martin Luther King Jr. Sunday service at UU Wausau on January 20, 2019.
