YOUR PLEDGE MATTERS
Give Liberally
Giving of ourselves and modeling generosity to the next generation are key spiritual practices and real ways to be the change we’d like to see in the world.
Each UU congregation funds itself independently. The members and friends of this church collaboratively invest about $300,000 each year into the spirit of freedom, gratitude, and generosity that we wish to promote within ourselves, within our children, and within the larger community.
Your financial gifts support:
- Liberal religious education for children
- Adults RE small groups and programs
- Pastoral care and the Caring Committee
- Community service and Social Justice Committee activities
- Rites of passage for birth, death, and significant points in-between
- Maintenance and care for our buildings and grounds
- Music for our choir
Our operating cost per year per adult member is approximately $1,200. Each of us gives at a level matching our resources and commitment. Some give in lump sums, others weekly, and others by monthly electronic transfer from their bank account. It’s always your decision.

Ways To Pledge
You can donate in support of the First Universalist Unitarian Church of Wausau or make payments towards your annual Stewardship pledge in the following ways:
- Automate your annual pledge securely online using your bank card or account information to create an annual, monthly, or weekly donation
- Completing a pledge form and returning to the church office
- Sending a check written or online check
- Recurring bank payments using routing/account information (bank draft form)
- IRA Distributions
- Donation of stock shares
- Recommendation of a grant from a Donor Advised Fund
