October’s Theme and Practice: Compassion and Loving Kindness Meditation

More and more people are seeking meaningful spiritual practices, and Practice Matters helps you explore them through doing, not just talking. Each drop-in session introduces a spiritual practice, shows how it meets universal human longings, and gives you space to experience it alongside others.

We’ll also spend time reflecting and discussing the practice in light of that month’s Soul Matters theme. No preparation or commitment is needed; just bring your curiosity and an open heart.

Our church is excited to share a new opportunity with our congregation and the wider community. We are now accepting applications for a part-time Membership and Involvement Coordinator (12.5 hours per week). This meaningful role helps create a welcoming and connected church community by supporting Sunday hospitality, greeting visitors and newcomers, maintaining membership information, and helping people find ways to engage in congregational life.
