Creativity Matters

Event Series (See All)

December 2 @ 7:00 pm 8:30 pm

Choosing Hope

December’s Creativity Matters theme is “choosing hope.” We’ll explore how creativity can help us recognize and nurture hope, even when it feels distant. Through art and creative practice, we’ll reflect on the ways expression can kindle light in dark times, remind us of resilience, and help us imagine new possibilities.

Project Options

We will have supplies for Project Options B, D, and G from the monthly Creativity Matters packet*:

  • Tissue paper stained glass suncatchers
  • Felt Ornaments
  • Exploring the theme of light and dark with the medium of your choosing

Don’t have a copy of this month’s Creativity Matters guide? Sign up to be part of the mailing list or reach out to our Director of Religious Education for a copy!

What is Creativity Matters?

Creativity Matters is a drop-in small group for teens and adults to slow down, connect, and explore monthly spiritual themes together through art and imagination.

It’s less about skill and more about play, allowing intuition, reflection, and creativity to guide us. Think of it as a gentle space where your right brain gets to dance with your left.

Each gathering offers time for sharing, creating, and simply being together. No experience is needed. Just bring your curiosity and a playful spirit.
