Opening the Hand of Thought: Foundations of Zen Buddhist Practice
Monthly Book Discussion Group
Join fellow UU Wausau members for a six-month journey through Opening the Hand of Thought by Kosho Uchiyama, an introduction to Zen Buddhist practice that “goes directly to the heart of Zen practice,” exploring self, peace, and interconnection.
The group begins Wednesday, November 12, and meets on the first Wednesdays, 6:30–8:00 pm, through April. Each session will cover 1–2 chapters with guiding questions shared in advance.
All are welcome, but space is limited to 10 participants. Please know that this group is over full but we are adding a second meeting date each month to accommodate a few more people.
