The Outreach Coordinator works with the congregation, committees, board, and staff to implement strategies for member outreach, newcomer follow-up, retention, and congregation growth.

Meet Carolyne Powers
Carolyne was excited to join the staff at UU of Wausau and bring her professional skills and experience to this new position. She has spent most of her career at D. C. Everest Schools and later at Northcentral Technical College as an administrative professional. Carolyne believes that a person should always work on developing skills and learning new things.
Carolyne and her husband recently moved from Weston to downtown Wausau. She has two grown-up children, one “little angel” (her nickname for her granddaughter Josie) and one very smart little Bichon Frisé named Jacques-o.
When she is not at UU Wausau, you’ll find Carolyne swimming at the YMCA or walking the mighty Wisconsin riverfront. She loves nature!
