Join us this Sunday for a conversation about mystery and amazement, and for advice on how to cancel your membership in the wildly popular, but deeply galling know-it-all club.
This Month’s Ministry Partner
On the third weekend of each month, our Sunday collection is given to a selected Ministry Partner who puts our mission statement into practice.
As a congregation, we continue to live our vision by volunteering at and donating to these influential community organizations and causes.
This month, we’re proud to donate our Community Focus Collection to New Beginning for Refugees Pantry.
Our Wausau refugee community continues to grow with the addition of large numbers of families arriving in February and March. While this is usually a slower time of year for arrivals, this year they are coming early like our spring weather. You can get an update on what’s happening as well as a very grateful thank you for all your past and future support. The collection will go to the pantry to enable it to continue stocking household goods for our newly arriving families from Burma, Afghanistan, Central Africa, Syria and Guatemala and for setting up house kits for the new families.
