Family Fun Night & Backpack Blessing
August 25, 2023 @ 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Families are invited to join us to kick off the RE year with a Family Fun Night on Friday, August 25 from 5:00-8:00 PM. Weather dependent, we’ll have outdoor games, and invite everyone to bring camp chairs. We’ll have a pizza dinner at 6:00 PM, and as part of the evening, we’ll have our annual backpack blessing and share our hopes and blessings for the start of the new school year.
3rd-7th graders are invited to stay for their RE sleepover. See more details here!
This evening is open to all UU Wausau members and friends, and the backpack blessing ritual is for folks of any age who would like a blessing for new beginnings.
