July’s Creativity Matters session revisits a favorite theme – Delight, and returning to the practice of noticing what brings us joy, wonder, and curiosity. Through simple creative activities, we’ll make space to reconnect with the colors, textures, moments, and surprises that brighten our lives and invite us to see the world with fresh eyes.
Project Options
We will have supplies for Project Options A, B, and D from the monthly Creativity Matters packet*:
- Art that Makes you Smile: Explore these joy-filled artists and let their playful, delightful creations inspire your own artwork that makes you smile.
- Art that Surprises: Make a card for someone close to you that includes a delightful surprise.
- Up-Close Delights: Get close and create from a new perspective, using your favorite artistic medium to discover the delight hidden in the small details

What is Creativity Matters?
Our Creativity Matters group helps community members engage in monthly themes and explore spiritual growth through creative expression.
It’s all about allowing our intuition and imagination to guide us, not just our logic and reflective minds. Think of it as making room for your right brain to dance with your left brain.
Creativity Matters is a teen and adult group designed for everyone — no experience or artistic skill is required! Just bring a playful spirit and adventurous attitude.
