Creativity Matters • Justice & Equity
February 13 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
“Art is not a mirror held up to reality but a hammer with which to shape it.”
Bertolt Brecht
February’s Creativity Matters theme is “justice & equity.” In this session, we will explore how art and creativity can help us heal from injustice and shape a more just and equitable world.
Before the session, spend some time with our reflection questions:
When was the first time you witnessed art support a struggle for justice?
Has art and creativity ever helped you heal from an injustice?
Do you believe that artists can change the world? If so, exactly how do they do that?

What is Creativity Matters?
Our Creativity Matters group helps community members engage in monthly themes and explore spiritual growth through creative expression.
It’s all about allowing our intuition and imagination to guide us, not just our logic and reflective minds. Think of it as making room for your right brain to dance with your left brain.
