Occupied play is the term for what babies do with their arms, legs, hands and feet almost as soon as they’re born. By 3 or 4 months, they’re laughing. And anyone who has watched a child knows about their awe and wonder. When life becomes a slog, maybe it’s a hint for us to reclaim these underutilized parts of ourselves.
