“Why We Record” Photography Exhibit
May 11 @ 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

This traveling photography exhibit, Why We Record, will be on display in Walker Hall from May 11 through May 13. Hosted by several congregations in the Wausau area, including our own, the exhibit invites viewers into a deeper understanding of Palestinian experiences through powerful visual storytelling.
The exhibit is organized around three themes: Displacement, Fragmentation, and Return and Future Visioning. Together, these images offer both witness and reflection on daily life, loss, resilience, and hope.
The exhibit is presented by the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC), a Quaker organization that works for a just, peaceful, and sustainable world free of violence, inequality, and oppression. Their work is grounded in principles of human rights and international humanitarian law.
Visitors are invited to move through the exhibit at their own pace, using a printed guide for context and reflection. A volunteer will be present to answer questions.
