Our Small Groups
Otherwise known as covenant groups, chalice circles, Soul Matters groups, or adult spiritual growth circles, these small groups are crafted to enhance connections, nurture spiritual development, and cultivate deep relationships. They consist of 6-10 people, who commit to meet monthly from September – June to share their reflections and experiences with a monthly theme.
Each month, participants receive a packet filled with readings, questions, and exercises related to that month’s theme, and they choose a question and/or exercise from the packet that speaks to them, spending time “walking with” it, allowing it to challenge and inspire them.
Then, during their group’s meeting, rather than providing answers and analysis to the questions, each person’s sharing focuses on a story or experience about how their chosen question or exercise led them to a new and personal insight.
This approach of reflection, sharing, listening, holding space, and engaging in regular spiritual practice is an opportunity to grow deeper spiritually and as a community by supporting each other, offering witness, and participating together.
2025-2026 Groups
Our small groups are now welcoming new participants! Whether you’re looking to join a new group, step into an existing one, or try our flexible drop-in option—no long-term commitment required. It’s a great way to share, listen, and grow together in a supportive, open-hearted community.
- Men’s Group – 2nd and 4th Tuesdays: The Men’s Group is entering its third year and welcoming new members starting in September. Gathering on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday evenings, Men’s Group uses the “Soul Matters” program to offer participants the gifts of a deeper connection to ourselves, others, and life through individual reflection, spiritual practice, and the practice of deep listening.
- Practice Matters – Drop-in (TBD): More and more people are seeking meaningful spiritual practices, and Practice Matters supports that search through learning and doing, not just talking about spiritual practices, but trying them together in real time. Each drop-in session introduces a spiritual practice, explores how it meets universal human longings, and creates space to experience and reflect on it as a group. No preparation or commitment required, just bring your curiosity and an open heart.
- Creativity Matters – Drop-in on 1st Tuesdays: Creativity Matters is a monthly small group for youth and adults to explore spiritual growth through creative expression. It’s all about allowing creativity and imagination to guide us, not just our logic and reflective minds. No experience or artistic skill is required. Just bring a playful and adventurous spirit.
- Join a new group: Don’t see a group that’s the right fit? We’re happy to start new ones when there’s enough interest. If you’d like to launch a different kind of affinity group—such as parents and caregivers, young adults, or another shared experience—just let us know.
