The Family Radio’s Help for the Homeless Hygiene Drive is collecting NEW hygiene and cleaning items for local crisis agencies. Financial donations can also be made securely at thefamily.net. The drive helps local homeless and crisis agencies, allowing them to use their funds for essential services like housing, counseling, and food.
Items needed include: bathroom tissue, cleaning supplies, dental care, deodorant, diapers, soap, feminine care, hair care, laundry detergent, razors, and trash bags. Please find a list of most needed items by clicking here. More information available at thefamily.net or 800-236-9364.
The items collected for this hygiene drive will be distributed locally among The Neighbors’ Place, Open Door, Community Center for Hope and Granite House. All donations stay in the community. Drop items off by March 16 at the church during office hours or on Sunday morning, before or after service. 504 Grant Street, Wausau, WI | Office hours: M-R, 9 am – 2 pm.

Hygiene and … cleaning supplies?
The agencies give cleaning products to their participants when they move out of the shelters into their own apartments. ALSO – the agencies themselves especially need laundry soap, dish soap, and trash bags (shelters have many waste baskets and change the liners frequently)!
Financial Donations
YES PLEASE! Financial donations are welcome and are directed to the community where the donation (donor’s address on check or credit card) comes from. Agencies tell us that this allows them to purchase exactly what they need.
