Church will be transformed with rooms of amazing auction items along with heavy hors d’oeuvres\, delicious desserts and beverages.  This wonderful evening of eating\, socialization and auction offerings only happens once every two years. It is a great opportunity to spend time with new and old UU friends in a fun social setting. \n\n\n\n\nVIEW THE AUCTION CATALOG HERE\n\n\n\n\nTICKETS:  Price is $30 and $35 at the door.  Ticket sales are now closed. \n\n\n\nCan’t make it to the event? You can still bid on (and potentially win) a service or a seat at a dinner or anything listed in the catalog by emailing an absentee bid to Kay Meyer (kmeyer1104@gmail.com). You can also get an event-attending friend to be your proxy. \n\n\n\nWe again hope to raise significant funds to support the ongoing ministry of our church. As always\, join our monthly group theme or work on any art project that inspires you! \n\n\n\n\nDitch your to-do list. Ignore the laundry. Shake off perfectionism. And create for the sake of creating — No rules. No judgement. No apologies. \nCaylee Grey\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis peaceful gathering is for artists\, crafters\, and creative beginners alike. It is open to adults and high school-aged youth. It is the perfect mother-daughter date\, mom-and-mom hangout\, or missing-mom weekend activity. \n\n\n\nWe’ll provide examples\, gentle guidance\, and a few supplies to get you started. SUMMARY:Adopt a Highway Clean Up Day
DESCRIPTION:Please consider joining fellow church members as we clean up our section of highway as part of the Adopt-A -Highway program. Our section is located on County Highway J approximately 3 miles north of the intersection of  J and State Highway 52 starting at Shorthorn Road. There is ample space to park on Shorthorn Rd. If we have enough volunteers\, one group can start at the north end while the other works up from the south. \n\n\n\nIn the past this has taken only an hour or two. \n\n\n\nAs we will be walking along a highway\, and with safety in mind\, it is recommended that children under age 13 not participate. Be advised that the ditches are uneven ground and possibly wet. It is also tick season. Dress accordingly. Gloves and waterproof footwear are suggested. Safety vests and garbage bags will be provided. \n\n\n\nDate of cleanup is Saturday\, May 11th starting at 9:30 A.M.
