Suzelle Lynch (she/her) has been a UU minister for 29 years\, serving congregations in Wisconsin\, Washington\, California and Texas. Prior to ministry\, she worked as a communications professional for a variety organizations\, including a robot company. Rev. Suzelle writes songs and is the mother of an aspiring opera singer; she’s a trained labyrinth facilitator\, and a passionate advocate for racial justice. Loss\, stress\, war\, cultural nihilism\, bifocals\, taxes\, winter. But then\, lest we forget\, there’s also Dolly Parton\, Oreos\, laser tag\, and seeds planted somewhere waiting to burst with life. The global church just flipped the calendar from “Ordinary Time” to “Advent\,” a season that invites us to meditate on the tension between what is and what’s being hoped for.
