DESCRIPTION:Alien No More – The Rev. Brian Mason\, preaching\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nLet’s explore Terence’s timeless wisdom\, “Nothing human is alien to me\,” and discover how understanding and compassion bridge the divides within our shared humanity. \n\n\n\nAfter service\, we hold a glorified coffee hour.  We welcome you to stay a while and get to know other congregation members.  \n\n\n\nJoin us Sunday in person as we worship together. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCommunity Focus Collection (CFC)\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nOn the third weekend of each month\, our Sunday collection is given to a pre-selected Ministry Partner\, organization or cause\, like this one\, that puts our values into practice.   \n\n\n\nOur ministry partner for this week is The Women’s Community.  Learn more about them here. \n\n\n\nThe Women’s Community \n\n\n\nOn May 19th\, Jane Graham Jennings who is the Director of The Women’s Community will join us to share information about the programs offered in our area for the Community Focus Collection. \n\n\n\nYou May Not Know All The Women’s Community DoesBecause violence knows no bounds\, The Women’s Community provides numerous programs to support survivors of abuse from varied backgrounds. \n\n\n\nMost people are familiar with the shelter program\, but the agency provides so much more.Sexual Assault Victim Services\, Criminal Legal System Advocacy\, Transitional Living Program\, Anti Human Trafficking Program\, Southeast Asian Advocate Program\, Abuse in Later Life Program\, Latinx Program\, Refugee Outreach Program and specialized services for victims who identify as LGBTQ+. \n\n\n\nAll services are free and available 24 hours a day.
