DESCRIPTION:Beyond the Possible – The Rev. Brian Mason\, preaching\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nIn a time when hopes for a better world are often described as out of reach\, we reflect on the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King\, Jr. How does our understanding of what’s ‘possible’ limit our social\, spiritual\, and political imagination? To dream boldly and act courageously\, we must push beyond the boundaries of possibility. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCommunity Focus Collection (CFC)\n\n\n\nOn the third weekend of each month (September – May)\, our Sunday collection is given to a pre-selected Ministry Partner\, organization\, or cause that puts our values into practice. This week our donations go to Community Partners Campus. The Executive Director\, Tara Glodowski will be speaking. \n\n\n\nCommunity Partners Campus provides a single location for the provision of a wide range of human services by offering functional\, collaborative\, shared-space facilities for its nonprofit partners\, all of which have mission-driven purposes to serve disadvantaged individuals and families in the greater Wausau area. \n\n\n\nCommunity Partners Campus (CPC) helps its nonprofit partners meet their clients’ needs\, with an emphasis on food\, shelter\, medical\, mental health\, and social well-being. In addition to providing more services to more people\, CPC allows its partners to focus their efforts on their missions without the distractions of owning their own building or renting a facility at market rates that don’t truly meet their needs.
