DESCRIPTION:This Side of Nirvana:  Zen Musings on the Good Life\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nPresenter:  Donna Keuck \n\n\n\nNo one ever said that Zen practice was easy.  It takes work\, which makes it an apt topic for Labor Day weekend!  Many texts and images guide this effort.  One of the most enduring is a set of ten Chinese paintings and poems from the twelfth century.  During this service we will take a look at these inspiring artworks and consider their meaning for our own lives.  In lieu of music\, there will be conversation and laughter.  Instead of a sermon\, there will be guided small group discussion.  Japanese sociologist\, Obaku Zen student and UU Wausau member Dr. Donna Keuck will act as the facilitator.  No one ever said that work can’t be fun.  \n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nJoin Us On Sundays For Services That Inform & Inspire\n\n\n\nSermons at UU Wausau encompass many topics\, but always with the intent of cultivating dialogue and fostering growth.
