DESCRIPTION:The First Universalist-Unitarian Church of Wausau will celebrate the 54th annual Earth Day in the atrium after our Spring Sing Service.  The official Earth Day theme this year is “Planet vs. Plastics.”  The 2023-24 scroll for Project SEA-Change will be on display\, and the 2024-25 scroll will be ready for you to record your weekly good deeds for the planet\, such as recycling approved plastics. \n\n\n\nWe ask that you contribute one cup of a raw fruit or vegetable\, washed and cut into bite-sized pieces.  As we did last year\, we will combine our contributions into one big\, colorful\, communal concoction of truly tasty delight:  The UU Wausau Earth Day Super-Salad.

We’ll have a pizza dinner at 6:00 PM\, and as part of the evening\, we’ll have our annual backpack blessing and share our hopes and blessings for the start of the new school year. \n\n\n\n3rd-7th graders are invited to stay for their RE sleepover.
