DESCRIPTION:If you have had a secret wish to sing\, join the UU Wausau Choir. We always welcome new members. DESCRIPTION:Opening the Hand of Thought: Foundations of Zen Buddhist PracticeMonthly Book Discussion Group\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nJoin fellow UU Wausau members for a six-month journey through Opening the Hand of Thought by Kosho Uchiyama\, an introduction to Zen Buddhist practice that “goes directly to the heart of Zen practice\,” exploring self\, peace\, and interconnection. \n\n\n\nAt April’s meeting\, we’ll also be looking ahead to future reads. Anyone with a suggestion for potential books or who is interested in participating in future book discussions is welcome to attend.The group begins on Wednesday\, November 12\, and will then meet on the first Wednesdays and Thursdays\, 6:30–8:00 pm\, through April. Please note: there will be no meeting on April 1; the April session will instead be held on April 8. DESCRIPTION:Join teacher Larry Riddle and others in our beautiful atrium for stretching and Tai Chi. The stretching portion of the class lasts about 90 minutes and is required. Beginners are welcome. Wear loose-fitting clothing and flat tennis shoes\, if you have them. Classes are free and open to the public.
