So why do so many people act like they’ve got all the answers? Join us this Sunday for a conversation about mystery and amazement\, and for advice on how to cancel your membership in the wildly popular\, but deeply galling know-it-all club. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis Month’s Ministry Partner\n\n\n\nOn the third weekend of each month\, our Sunday collection is given to a selected Ministry Partner who puts our mission statement into practice.  \n\n\n\nAs a congregation\, we continue to live our vision by volunteering at and donating to these influential community organizations and causes. \n\n\n\nThis month\, we’re proud to donate our Community Focus Collection to New Beginning for Refugees Pantry. \n\n\n\n\nOur Wausau refugee community continues to grow with the addition of large numbers of families arriving in February and March. While this is usually a slower time of year for arrivals\, this year they are coming early like our spring weather. You can get an update on what’s happening as well as a very grateful thank you for all your past and future support. The collection will go to the pantry to enable it to continue stocking household goods for our newly arriving families from Burma\, Afghanistan\, Central Africa\, Syria and Guatemala and for setting up house kits for the new families. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nJoin Us On Sundays For Services That Inform & Inspire\n\n\n\nSermons at UU Wausau encompass many topics\, but always with the intent of cultivating dialogue and fostering growth. On any given Sunday\, you will hear a sermon that stimulates your thinking about life\, opens a new perspective on the Bible\, or speaks to the state of the world with words of hope or healing. DESCRIPTION:Connections Cafe (C2) is an open space one Sunday a month for youth in 7th-12th grade to connect\, collaborate\, create\, and rest. Youth can choose to play a game\, make some art\, sit in the quiet\, enjoy a snack\, and/or do something else or nothing at all. C2 is a chance for youth to disconnect from the busyness of life and focus on those things that rest and renew their spirit.
