DESCRIPTION:If you have had a secret wish to sing\, join the UU Wausau Choir. We always welcome new members. DESCRIPTION:Event Summary\n\n\n\nJoin us for a tender and reflective evening at The Darkest Night: A Winter Solstice Candlelight Service that recognizes the complexity of emotions that can accompany the holiday season.  \n\n\n\nOn the longest night of the year\, we come together to create a safe and compassionate space for those experiencing feelings of loss\, grief\, or solitude during this time by celebrating the passage from darkness to light with readings\, songs\, drumming\, letting go\, quiet meditation\, and candles.  \n\n\n\nAll are welcome to join in this special intergenerational seasonal service\, which honors our earth-centered traditions that celebrate the sacred circle of life. \n\n\n\nIt’s a meaningful event reminding us that we can find strength and comfort in one another’s company\, offering a beacon of hope amid darkness. \n\n\n\n*Start time 7 pm \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin Us On Sundays For Services That Inform & Inspire\n\n\n\nSermons at UU Wausau encompass many topics\, but always with the intent of cultivating dialogue and fostering growth. On any given Sunday\, you will hear a sermon that stimulates your thinking about life\, opens a new perspective on the Bible\, or speaks to the state of the world with words of hope or healing.
