The Rev. Glenda C. Walker, a native of New Jersey, served as Minister to the First Universalist Unitarian Church of Wausau from 1990-2000. Prior to professional ministry, Glenda served in the Air Force, which she joined to see the world. Throughout her life, Glenda would live in eleven states and Barcelona, Spain, eventually settling in Norman, Oklahoma. During her time in Oklahoma, Glenda obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Social Work from the University of Oklahoma. Following a call to ministry, Glenda gained admission to Harvard Divinity School, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she earned a Master of Divinity. Upon graduation, Glenda was called as Minister to the First Universalist Unitarian Church of Wausau. Upon retirement, the congregation honored Glenda with the title Minister Emerita. Glenda lived in Wausau, Wisconsin until her death on February 12, 2020.
