Guest Speaker, Andrea Huggenvik will speak about Unconscious Bias. Our brains make billions of connections each day, and many of these connections are unconscious. While these processes save us time and energy and allow us to make many more decisions throughout the day, they often rely on patterns and learned stereotypes which perpetuate bias. Listeners will learn how to uncover their own unconscious bias and strategies to overcome any unintentional bias in their own decision making.
