The Rev. Brian Mason
Moving to a new town (and in to a new house) has me thinking a lot about home lately. Home is the place we live and make memories. It can also be a particular city, town, or farm. When I get to thinking about home I can’t help but miss my family. It’s hard living so far away. But missing them isn’t just a proximity thing. I remember feeling similarly when I lived close by. Now, when I visit my hometown there is a sense of strangeness. Where once I felt a small sense of recognition in peoples’ eyes, I now find an impartial kindness. So, what is it that we call home?
